124 billion € per year — What Europe brings to France 🇫🇷🇪🇺 This is the average economic return for France from its membership in the EU. And that, without counting all the non‑economic benefits: security, defense, cultural exchanges, social and environmental policy, and the place of Europeans in the world. Let’s stop saying that France pays too much to Europe. Let us defend our national contribution with courage and pride. It’s not a burden; it’s an investment in the future. → Read our booklet → Share on X → Share on Facebook

Here we go again. While political leaders in Berlin talk about digital sovereignty, we again see how vulnerable we are. Now it's about a disruption, but our digital infrastructure can also be deliberately shut down. Therefore we must quickly build robust European alternatives.

The open process at the UN represents a unique opportunity to advance the explicit and binding recognition of the dignity and equality of older people and to combat ageism. 📢We need greater involvement from the EU and Member States. www.linkedin.com/pulse/idoia-...

Do you know what the pinnacle of hypocrisy is? When a crowd at the National cheers the author of these words: “Right now, the initiative, responsibility, and flexibility of the Soviet Union and other socialist countries deserve the most pride. With them they present the world a variety of peace proposals and the way to solve problems in Soviet society, a way that other countries of the socialist camp also adopt. Among the successes of our republic I value most the relatively high standard of living in our society and the fact that we have managed to balance our payments with the West.” “In my personal life I live according to the principles of socialist morality and generally applicable ethical norms.” “Both of my parents are members of the KSČ and actively participate in party work.” “During primary school I was a member of the Pioneers, holding no office. In high school I joined the SSM, where I also took part in political education in the Lenin circle.” “None of my relatives, friends, or acquaintances engaged in negative political activity, committed anti‑state or anti‑societal acts, or broke the law.”

Today I met David Maenda Kithoko and Bazeli Mbo from the Democratic Republic of Congo. They denounced the catastrophic violence in their country. Fueled by the raw material hunger, also of Europe. The prosperity of the EU must no longer be based on a blood trail through Africa.

We have today witnessed a shocking collaboration in the slashing of human, environmental, and employee rights by far‑right parties, including the AfD, and conservatives, including the CDU/CSU. A bitter taste of what else can come from such a cooperation.

⚠️ The media swamp did not line up with the election results❗️ One proof for everything. ➡️ When Fiala’s arrogant antisocial gang, which caused over 30 % inflation, pushed the birth rate down to its lowest levels in several decades (some indicators even put it in the hundreds), it had to respond by raising the parental allowance by at least 50 thousand. The media announced this with great pomp. What about the fact that already in 2023 Fiala’s government had to increase the allowance by 96 thousand (!), if it wanted to keep its real value over time❗️ Now the government, which has not yet been appointed, has committed to the right move – to raise the parental allowance by another 50 thousand. And yet 👉 the same media houses (in this case SeznamZprávy) marvel that it does not keep up with inflation. And they are right. But where have these writers been all this time?❓ If their so‑beloved Fiala government had introduced a valuation system – which it did not hesitate to apply to its own salaries, so that they rose by several thousand each year – these writers would no longer have to write how little is added. By the way, I still believe that a valuation system for the parental allowance should be implemented, because we need to support birth rates👩‍🍼. The media, as impartial watchdogs of democracy, are supposed to do that. That’s a lot of theory. In reality they carry out their own politics and shape public opinion in ways that suit their owners and the interest groups they are connected to❗️ The movement Stačilo! faced, before the elections, a targeted attack from these pro‑Fiala journalists and Brussels‑based media on a daily basis. They didn’t need facts. Just half‑truths, speculation and poisonous slander mixed with prejudiced hatred, so that the movement, which did not sell its program in the European Parliament or in the regions, never got into the Chamber❗️ The goal was achieved. Now there are other uncomfortable ones…
