The trade deficit of Austria is as large as it hasn't been in 13 years. The high energy and wage costs in the country are to blame, followed by an overwhelming bureaucracy and, not least, a deficient infrastructure. The course set by former Green minister Leonore Gewessler during the black‑green government seems to be continued by the current SPÖ minister Peter Hanke, who is now responsible for infrastructure. We had all been shaken by the abominable barbaric rape committed with a broom by the multi‑recidivist delinquent Oumar N’Diaye on the young Mégane, in Cherbourg, in 2023. We are devastated to learn that he has just escaped the criminal imprisonment for life that he deserved 100 times. We will continue to fight every day so that no young women like Mégane ever again cross paths with monsters like Oumar.__📲 Relay on X!

I salute the memory of Chief Warrant Officer Arnaud Frion, who died on the outskirts of Iraqi Kurdistan. I think of his wounded comrades and their families. In Iraq, since 2015, France has been participating in the fight against Islamic terrorism alongside Baghdad and Erbil. “Of iron and steel” is the motto of the 7th BCA where this soldier served; such must also be the solidarity and loyalty of our nation toward the families of those who sacrifice for it. __📲 Share on X!

The bond between the EU and Armenia has never been stronger. That is why we are working to lift visa requirements. This comes with obligations: managing migration, strengthening border protection, and preventing document fraud. Today’s visit showed: we are making good progress.

The expansion of wind turbines has become a highly profitable business model. Both operators and the government benefit massively. The Renewable Expansion Act (EAG) offers a state price guarantee of about €0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) over a period of 20 years. This long-term security makes wind industry zones – called parks – one of the safest asset classes for banks, private investors, and feudal lords. Reviving nuclear power in France and Europe: Macron and Von der Leyen must move from apologies to action. Clearly, Emmanuel Macron is trying to make people forget his missteps in energy policy. On Monday, he was organizing a global nuclear summit; today he is visiting the Penly plant. After years of yielding to the Greens' pressure, Paris and Brussels have therefore acknowledged that they made a mistake by pulling back from an essential energy sector that is crucial for our strategic autonomy and the economic competitiveness of our industries and businesses. Between 2004 and 2024, nuclear energy production fell by 30 % in Europe, benefiting all our competitors. While the President of the Republic wanted to cut the share of nuclear in our electricity mix by 50 %, he now admits that “we need nuclear because it is a source of progress, prosperity, and independence.” I take note of that. Likewise, I take note of Ursula von der Leyen’s admission that this voluntary reduction in Europe is a “strategic mistake.” Thus, the President of the European Commission admits the absurdity of the Green Deal and her strong aversion to atomic energy. This session of self‑criticism, however, cannot stand on its own. The European Union must now support the conclusions of this summit to help the most advanced member states in this sector. As for our national imperatives, our solutions are known: – extend the operating life of existing nuclear plants to 80 years; – reduce the cost of third‑generation nuclear production by easing its financing, forcing EDF to finally optimize its management, and ensuring that standards are properly calibrated; – long‑term investment in fourth‑generation nuclear. At the European level, it is now necessary to establish a nuclear omnibus, i.e., a massive simplification of standards, so that atomic energy enjoys the same advantages as renewable energies, and the European Commission will propose this as soon as possible to Parliament and the Council. While China is on the verge of becoming the world’s largest nuclear producer, it is high time for France and Europe to regain their energy sovereignty. __📲 Share on X! 👉 Join Identité Libertés!

For years we were fed the fairy tale of the supposedly cheap, safe, and morally superior green energy. Politicians and climate fanatics preach tirelessly: Whoever does not invest in wind and sun is yesterday’s news. Fossil energies will soon be completely worthless – so-called “stranded assets.” But this is just another life lie. Ironically, the British major bank Barclays raises the alarm in a shock paper. Imagine working 2 months more per year and earning 16% less than men, or getting a pension that is, on average, 25% lower: this is the reality of European women who also are asked to care for their children and elderly and dependent family members for free and, in most cases, also do the housework.

It felt strange - Georgians are lovely people. So when I was shouted at and aggressively pushed to answer journalists yesterday, I immediately asked "Are you Imedi?" They were. I didn't know Rustavi fell too. :( I believe propagandist TVs of authoritarians should be banned from entry of the EP.
