My speech in the Parliament in Strasbourg today about the catastrophic situation of our farmers, caused by the dreadful politics of the system parties!‼ After one minute of speaking time, I was interrupted, while the EU Commissioner was allowed to exceed his speaking time by more than 4 minutes! ☝➡ Follow Gerald Hauser on Telegram: https://t.me/GeraldHauser 🎥 Follow Gerald Hauser also on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@GeraldHauser_fpoe

Important #NB8 statement, noting: security risks linked to the potential entry of Russia’s ex combatants into the Schengen Area; Russia’s isolation on the international stage must continue; Belarus remains an accomplice in Russia’s war, hence no revision of relations. ⬇️

🤡 MADMEN IN THE EU COMMITTEE ARE FIGHTING AGAINST EMOJIS! 🤦♂️ In the latest report to the committee regarding the implementation of the so‑called “Act on Digital Services,” the committee has reached the conclusion that emojis are a dangerous code language on the internet. Encrypted communication via emojis can be used for illegal activities or the spread of “hate and racism.” ⚠️ Therefore, the committee must use its powers and find a way to fight against this. 🤬 It is unimaginable that in a time of escalating problems with energy prices, wars, crime, etc., money is also spent on such nonsense! ✅️ With UHRÍK and MAZUREK you always know that we will unwaveringly stand on the side of freedom of thought and expression! Against the madmen in the Leyen commission.

18.8% of people in Austria are at risk of poverty. The number continues to rise and shows clear social imbalances! ⚠️ While the state traditionally is responsible for domestic needy such as the unemployed and single parents, now an additional challenge arises from a high proportion of immigrants from economically weak countries. Extending free CO₂ permits is a step backwards: a fossil subsidy for pollution instead of investing in clean energy. A costly climate placebo that rewards the biggest polluters. The Commission should rethink this mistake

The grim battlefield math shows Russia is losing a record number of soldiers. For the first time in years, Moscow’s Victory parade is about to take place without any heavy military equipment. This tells a lot about how the war is going for Russia.

Adoption of the Fidanza Report: Our ECR Group on the Front Line to Defend Our Farmers in the European Parliament I am delighted by the adoption of the report on the future of livestock farming in Europe by our ally in the European Parliament, Carlo Fidanza, first vice‑president of the ECR party and head of the Italian delegation of our group. While the national strategy for food, nutrition and climate published on February 11 by the French government demonises meat consumption and production, there is, on the contrary, a majority in the European Parliament to defend our farmers and their products. The Fidanza report is a genuine love letter to European livestock farming. It reminds us that instead of advocating a reduction in herd sizes and the replacement of animal proteins, our continent should position itself as the global leader of prudent and quality agriculture. And this is not impossible, as European exports of animal products have tripled since 2000. Yet this ambition continues to be fought by a swarm of NGOs and Sunday scientists who have identified European farmers as their primary enemies. We will not let them do that, and the Fidanza report fortunately reminds us that farmers are the primary actors and the primary beneficiaries of animal welfare or nature protection. In this regard, the articles voted on Thursday, April 30 call for regulatory simplification, a review of the Nitrates Directive, and the fight against the legal insecurity of farmers. The report stresses that “the livestock sector should not be subject to a regulatory regime designed for heavy industries.” Another nail in the coffin of green ideology. By voting for this report, European parliamentarians also reminded the Commission of their demands regarding the CAP: budget sanctuaries, maintenance of direct payments, especially for young farmers, and the establishment of a special financial instrument for farms affected by free‑trade agreements. No, French and European farmers are not condemned to disappearance or relocation. With our ECR group, we will continue to defend them successfully in the negotiations of the CAP and the next European budget. __📲 Share on X!
