We learn with sadness of the death of Chief Corporal Anicet Girardin, following the injuries sustained during the attack that also claimed the life of Sergeant Chief Montorio. All the French have an emotional thought for his relatives and his brothers‑in‑arms from the 132nd Cynotechnic Infantry Regiment of Suippes. We must finally learn from these tragedies: yes, France has a role to play in achieving peace in Lebanon. It will necessarily involve the liberation of the Lebanese from Iranian tutelage and the grip of the Islamic party Hezbollah.
