Heading for Europe! ⚓️🇫🇷🇪🇺 This year we are celebrating the 400th anniversary of the French Navy. For four centuries, generations of sailors have succeeded one another to embody courage, commitment, excellence, and to affirm France’s power in the world. It was a pleasure to welcome, on this occasion, at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, nearly 150 sailors to discuss building a European naval strategic culture. A reflection more relevant than ever in light of global geopolitical stakes. Europe is a maritime power and must assert itself as such! I also took this opportunity to greet the crew of the frigate Alsace, deployed in the Mediterranean.
