The FPÖ has its own plan to lower fuel prices. We will bring this model into the National Council – and we are already curious how the single party will react to it. One must agree to this proposal if one really means it: We stand for the complete removal of the CO₂ tax as well as for the halving of the mineral oil tax. This immediately achieves a reduction of 44 cents per liter of gasoline and 40 cents per liter of diesel. That means a real savings for all car drivers and commuters with every fill‑up. It is noticeable, comes without trickery, and really helps!
