The liberal EU Member of Parliament Gerald Hauser strongly criticises the EU Commission’s plans to, from 2028, for the first time since the existence of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), no longer provide a separate fund. From his point of view, this would weaken a central instrument of European agricultural policy.
