And even the murder of the young Quentin, lynched to death by LFI parliamentary assistants, members of the Young Guard led by Raphaël Arnault, will not prevent the alliance with LFI in Avignon and Lyon. Behind the natural disgust that all this inspires in us lies a political truth: the left is the left. Pink, green, red – they are just variations of the same matrix. Yes, here everything must remind us that despite these internal torments and rivalries, the left continues to see itself as a bloc. NUPES, the NFP, had demonstrated this to us; the municipal elections tell us again. Here, everything must also remind us that the left’s moral injunctions are just tactical weapons: the left claims to disqualify a national‑camp candidate for a clumsy tweet for life, while it readily accommodates with Hamas, the aggression of a young Jew by the “antifa” and even a murder. Against the left bloc constantly renewed and reconstituted, of which LFI is now the true conductor and engine (Mélenchon, who has not forgotten his Trotskyist catechism, knows well that “the margins illuminate the center”), the national bloc must assert itself as the gathering point for all those who refuse deconstruction and the “New France” as a project for our country.
